Do you run a Dutch startup company dedicated to digital health?

The Dutch Digital Health Bootcamp in Boston and New York, April 4-8, could be your chance for an in-depth introduction to the digital health market in the United States.

Organizers of the program — Rockstart, the Innovation Attaché Network, the Dutch Consulate General in New York, and the Healthcare Innovation Transfer (HIT) foundation — are looking for a couple of Dutch startups to participate in the bootcamp.

During five intensive days, participants will work on improving patient experiences through a smart combination of health tech and design. The bootcamp will focus on recalibrating the traditional “health journey.”

Special attention will be given to design and evidence-based experiences to translate vision into impact by using care technology in the patient-doctor relationship.

Participants will be introduced to designers, technical personnel, and the business in general, meeting some of the fastest growing US startups, investors, knowledge institutions, and partners.

Participants will receive full access to the HXRefactored conference organized by Health2.0 in Boston, where Dutch companies will receive specialized attention through customized workshops.

Following that, the group will travel by train to New York where to meet with investors and potential clients.

The bootcamp is designed to give Dutch startups international attention and strength by introducing them to health design, delivery design, US implementations, and the impact health technology has on US healthcare.

It also will position the Netherlands as the European hotspot for medical technology, digital health innovation, and international entrepreneurship.

The bootcamp includes:

  • Access to HXRefactored: The Health 2.0 Conference in Boston
  • Special attention for Dutch startups in a sponsored track
  • A visit to and interaction with MIT, Harvard, and health incubators
  • An intensive program, “Design & Health: Creating Impact with your innovation”
  • Matchmaking with possible business partners, investors and clients

The bootcamp runs April 4-8, 2016, and costs $400 plus travel and hotel expenses. A maximum of two people per company can participate. If you’re interested in applying for the bootcamp, email [email protected].
