To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, and the 76th anniversary of D-Day, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands is honored to present “Operation Overlord: OSS and the Battle for France.”

This powerful documentary tells the story of Allied special forces whose daring exploits changed the course of World War II.

It was produced by Charles Pinck, president of The OSS Society, a nonprofit organization that honors the Office of Strategic Services, (OSS), the World War II predecessor to CIA, the U.S. Special Operations Command, and the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research.

It was written and directed by Carl Colby whose father, William Colby, jumped into Nazi-occupied France as a member of the OSS Jedburghs, predecessor to US Special Forces.
