Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands will visit President Donald J. Trump at the White House on July 2, 2018. The Prime Minister and the President will reaffirm the strong bilateral ties between the two countries that span over 400 years. They will discuss trade and investment between the United States and the Netherlands as well as shared defense and security goals, both within NATO and globally.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Minister Sigrid Kaag (Foreign Trade and Development).
For more than 400 years, the Netherlands and the United States have shared a deep bond founded on shared values and history. Through the centuries, the Netherlands and US economic partnership has created jobs, sound investments, and promising opportunities.
