The Netherlands Innovation Attaché Network in North America stimulates international cooperation between companies, knowledge institutes and governments in the fields of innovation, technology and science.
With offices in Washington, Boston, and San Francisco, the network focuses on three areas:
- developments in tech, innovation and science policy;
- spotting the latest tech trends like artificial intelligence, photonics and their applications;
- and matchmaking between companies, universities and government.
Innovation is one of the key drivers of economic growth and determines the competitive position of the Netherlands in the world. The Netherlands is doing excellent given the positions on the various rankings. At the same time, developments are so rapid that insight into the latest trends, network access, and discovering new collaborative capabilities are crucial to maintaining and strengthening the top-five position.
The Innovation Attaché Network, which is part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, helps support companies and organizations realize their international ambitions. This can be done by, for example, organizing missions on specific themes or by selecting partners.
