If average drivers are ever going to trust their electric car enough to take them where they need to go, whenever they need to go, regardless of the distance, they must be able to charge their car battery along the way.

Fortunately, the Netherlands is well on the way to make this a reality.

The Dutch company Fastned is making that a reality. With 42 stations available, and by adding one charging station a week, Fastned is building a network of 201 fast charging stations along the highway to cover the entire nation. Cars that are able to fast charge can do so in 20 minutes.
